Perfume/fridge combo: a false good idea?

Contrary to popular belief, keeping your perfume in the fridge isn't helpful. While fragrances generally don't like heat and humidity, there's no point condemning them to wandering around our fridge. Our Eau de Parfum? We love it and don't want to leave it behind. In our handbag, in a desk drawer, or on the mantelpiece of our Haussmann-style apartment, our perfume is meant to live near us.
