Perfume in the fridge: a good way to keep your fragrance for longer?

As a perfume addict, you want to keep your fragrances for as long as possible. Store perfume in the fridge is one of the most common recommendations when it comes to storing perfume to make it last long so it doesn't go bad ! But is this really the best thing to do? Let us tell you what we think.

The perfume/fridge combo: a misguided idea?

Contrary to popular belief, storing your perfume in the fridge is not a good idea. Although fragrances don’t usually like heat and humidity, you don’t have to relegate them to the dry, cold, extreme temperatures of your fridge. We love wearing perfume and we don’t want to be without it. In our handbag, in a drawer at the office or on the mantelpiece of our flat: perfume is designed to be close at hand. Therefore, your fridge isn't the perfect place to store your perfume bottles!
