Patchouli, leather, tonka bean

A mixture of warm and balsam scents! This family includes fragrances with a strong character that will captivate you with their amber and spicy scents. In these fragrances, a tension arises between spices like cardamom and amber.

It offers sometimes balsam and sometimes leathery notes depending on its terroir. Here, it shapes and brings a woody note to the 03 fragrance and compliments the tonka while reinforcing the leather note. Generally considered as a base note, patchouli is also an excellent fixative in perfumes, adding depth.

Leather notes are perceived in a personal way depending on one's experience: some will associate them with leather goods or the equestrian world, others with rock concerts. They are atypical by nature and give character. There are different types: animal leather notes, smoked or soft (suede type). Here, they are rather smoked.

Raw, the tonka bean has notes of almond or dried hay. Once worked, it brings more powdery scents to compositions. Here, it softens and gives roundness to the leather.
